Shirahama is located on the Pacific coast of the Kii Peninsula in the southwestern part of Wakayama prefecture.
Many hot springs can be found here, most notably Nanki-Shirahama Onsen.

There are two free bus services that run from JR Shirahama Station to the hotel in the morning and afternoon.
Yanagiya has a long history and is said to have originated as a Shirahama Onsen ryokan. You can eat two meals
in a guest room if desired so. There are a variety of plans for each meal style and guest room. Recently, it looks
like the interior has been renewed by spending a lot of money. However, unfortunately, it is not satisfactory in
design. In a public bathroom, they frequently check the hot-spring water temperature to adjust it.
From April 2022, all 50 rooms became non-smoking.
