The name of Ourense derives from its hot springs, which is known to the
Romans,

Orense in Galicia is famous for its spa resorts. Many are in private ownership;
however,
they are opened to the public; all of them are situated in the Basin of
Mino River. Thermal
springs of Orense are noted for curing rheumatism effects. This city is one of major
destinations for spa enthusiasts.
